Municipal Theater

The Ovalle Municipal Theater was built between 1907 and 1929 by the Ovalle Musical Society, to carry out there the plays and musical evenings organized by that institution. In 2007, the Ilustre Municipalidad de Ovalle (city hall) bought the building with funds provided by the National Council for Culture and the Arts in order to remodel it. Currently, the Municipal Theater of Ovalle is a space that hosts the best local and national artistic shows for the enjoyment of the whole family.
