Historical Center

The historical center of the city is formed by the Plaza de Armas, located in the heart of Ovalle, its varied flora is very striking, resembling a botanical park. This main public walk is also the center of artistic and cultural manifestations. It is also possible to find the Alameda de Ovalle, the main avenue that rises between Ariztía Oriente and Poniente streets, in the historical center. Surrounded by green areas and recreational zones it incorporates in its architecture an imposing Espejo de Agua, a tourist place of postcard that has a system of dancing waters and lights.
